Coming soon

What works today

Manual delivery is always available: on an order, type the courier's name and the tracking number they gave you, then move the order along yourself. See Shipping and Orders and cash on delivery.

How connecting works

You use your OWN account with the carrier: the parcels, the courier fees and the cash collected on delivery are between you and the carrier, not Ebda Store. Connecting is only a credentials step in Settings > Shipping carriers:

  1. Open the carrier's card and pick Sandbox (test) or Live. Each mode keeps its own keys, so test keys never reach the live system.
  2. Paste each value. Every field has a Where do I find this? note that names the exact place in the carrier's dashboard. Secrets are saved encrypted and are never shown again: the page only shows "Saved ••••" and the last 4 characters.
  3. Press Test connection. Ebda Store makes one harmless call to the carrier with your keys. Nothing is booked.
  4. Once the test passes, switch the carrier on and, if you use several, choose your default. Changing a key later turns the carrier off until you test again.
  5. Fill in your pickup address and the carrier's settings on the same card.

When an order is ready, Ship books the parcel with your default carrier. The cash to collect is the order's unpaid cash-on-delivery amount, sent in EGP. Printing the label, tracking, cancelling and requesting the courier pickup are on the order.

Courier pickup

Once a parcel is booked with Bosta, Aramex or Mylerz, the order's shipment card has Request pickup:

  1. Choose the pickup date (today up to 14 days ahead, Cairo time).
  2. Aramex: choose the window the courier can come (from / to). Mylerz: choose one of Mylerz's own time slots. Bosta: Bosta assigns the time slot itself and the card shows it after the request.
  3. Press Send pickup request. The courier comes to the pickup address saved on the carrier's card.

The card then shows the request (Requested, Failed or Cancelled), the carrier's reference and the slot. Pressing the button twice, or again while a pickup is already requested, never books a second courier. If the carrier does not answer, the request shows Failed with a note: the pickup may still have been booked, so check the carrier's dashboard before asking again.

Cancel pickup is on the card for Bosta and Aramex. Mylerz has no cancel in its API: cancel it in your Mylerz portal. ShipBlu requests the pickup itself when the parcel is booked, so its card only shows that.

Bosta

  • API key: Bosta dashboard > Settings > API Integration > Request OTP > Create API key. Bosta shows the key once. Give it Read/Write access, or Full access if you want Ebda Store to cancel deliveries.
  • Pickup location ID: Settings > Pickup locations. Empty uses your default location for parcels; Request pickup needs it filled in.
  • Tracking: Bosta pushes every status change to Ebda Store automatically. Nothing to paste: Ebda Store gives Bosta the callback address and a secret header with each delivery. If you use a firewall, Bosta calls from 34.89.199.241 and 35.246.223.19.
  • Cash on delivery up to 30,000 EGP per parcel. The customer's governorate and area must be one Bosta serves; otherwise the order asks you to fix the address.

ShipBlu

  • API key: ShipBlu merchant dashboard > Integrations tab > the (+) button. For a sandbox key, email tech@shipblu.com with your business account name.
  • Parcel size: pick Small, Medium, Large or Extra large in the card; ShipBlu prices by size, not weight.
  • Pickup: ShipBlu keeps a new order on hold until a pickup is requested, so Ebda Store requests it as soon as the parcel is booked. If ShipBlu refuses, the order shows a note: request the pickup in your ShipBlu dashboard.
  • Tracking: ShipBlu has no push notifications, so Ebda Store checks your open parcels about every 30 minutes.
  • Cancel: ShipBlu does not document a cancel call. Cancel the order in your ShipBlu dashboard, then use Force cancel on the Ebda Store order to stop tracking it.

Mylerz

  • Username and password: issued by your Mylerz account manager (the same login as the Mylerz merchant portal).
  • Pickup warehouse name: Mylerz merchant portal > Warehouses, the "Name" column. It must match exactly. Test connection lists the names Mylerz knows for you.
  • No public sandbox: Mylerz publishes no test environment, so Mylerz stays "Coming soon" until Mylerz gives us one. Ask your account manager if you have a staging host.
  • Tracking: polled about every 30 minutes. Cancel works before pickup.

Aramex

  • Username, password, account number, account PIN, account entity and country code: provided by Aramex when your shipping API access is set up. Ask your Aramex account manager; the Aramex developer site lists the services.
  • Product type: Aramex wants a domestic product for your account. Ask Aramex which one, then enter it in the card's settings.
  • Cash on delivery in EGP: tick the box on the card only after Aramex confirms in writing that your account collects cash on delivery in Egyptian pounds. Until then Ebda Store books prepaid parcels only and tells you when an order needs cash collected.
  • Tracking: polled about every 30 minutes.
  • Cancel: Aramex's API has no "cancel shipment" call. Ask Aramex support (or use your Aramex portal) to cancel, then use Force cancel on the Ebda Store order.

If something goes wrong

  • "The address could not be mapped": the customer's governorate or area is not one the carrier recognises. Correct the order's address (governorate, then area) and press Ship again.
  • "Coming soon": the carrier is not open yet. Use manual delivery meanwhile.
  • The carrier is not answering: the order is untouched and booking is retried automatically.

Need another carrier?

Ebda Store supports Bosta, ShipBlu, Mylerz and Aramex, plus manual delivery. If you use another courier, use manual delivery, or use the Tell us link at the bottom of the Shipping carriers page.
