WhatsApp buttons
Ebda Store adds free click-to-chat buttons. A button opens WhatsApp on the customer's phone with a message already written, addressed to your number. No WhatsApp business account or API is needed, and nothing is sent automatically.
Turn it on
- In your store, open Branding, then Contact info.
- Enter your WhatsApp number (an Egyptian mobile). The buttons stay off until a valid number is saved.
- Switch on the buttons you want:
- Product share / ask: a button on every product page, prefilled with the product name, price and link.
- Ask about this order: lets customers message you from the order page.
- Cash-on-delivery confirmation: after a COD order, shows a Confirm on WhatsApp button and adds it to the order email.
Where else it shows up
- The setup guide has a button to share your store link on WhatsApp.
- On an order page you can message the customer with a prefilled text.
Messages are in Arabic or English following your store's default language.
